Honghao Deng, the creator of the highlighted work Award Winning Amoeba Wall Dynamical Space Reconfiguration Tool illustrates, Amoeba Wall's design is inspired by the fluid forms and mechanisms of amoeba. It is primarily used as a tangible interface to allow users to achieve efficient workspace reconfiguration and dynamic lighting at the same time. The walls will autonomously shape the room around users such as creating small individual offices, open co-working spaces, and private meeting spaces, responding to their needs. Also, it can also form responsive art installation like an endless maze, or a dancing wall that follows the surrounding music. .
