Sostanza

Sostanza is a simplified lead holder that combines the warmth of a traditional pencil with the convenience of a propelling pencil. It's composed of only two pieces, the lightweight wooden body and the external ring that slides up to lock the lead in place. Its functioning is elemental but not taken for granted, all the mechanisms have been eliminated, in order to simplify the assembling process and improve its sustainability. Sostanza is a handmade object, entirely produced in Italy using beautiful natural materials.

Nike+ Run Club on Huaihai

When it comes to grabbing the attention of customers, nothing beats a shareable, livable, one-of-a-kind experience. The need for a strong brand-customer connection has never been more prevalent, and what better way to connect than in-person? COORDINATION ASIA joined forces with Nike to create the NIKE+ RUN CLUB on Huaihai, a pair of stealth hubs operating as a pop-up gym outside of department store Lane Crawford in Shanghai’s Times Square.

San Francisco Ballet

Method partnered with San Francisco Ballet to design a new digital platform that encourages engagement with its audience through multiple touch points. The intention was to clarify the company’s story, provide inspiration through dance and attract a broader audience through education. The new online experience gives audiences the freedom to explore & appreciate the ballet through multiple lenses, while extending the same elegance you would find in a performance to some of the more focused tasks such as ticket purchase or donation.

All start with thankful. A series of letter openers that reflects occupations: Memento is not just a set of tools but also a series of objects that expresses the user’s gratitude and feelings. Through product semantics and simple images of different professions, the designs and the unique ways each Memento piece is used give the user various heartfelt experiences.

Shanghai Film Museum

Unlike any other type of museum, a film museum connects to people’s personal lives and memories. COORDINATION ASIA created an experience for the Shanghai Film Museum that is driven by interaction and dialogue, and that allows visitors to be an active participant in the story of Shanghai film. Over 15,000 sqm the museum shares the story of Shanghai filmmaking, from its magical beginning in 1886 to present day’s 3D blockbusters.

Bench for BLM Group

A metal bench laser cut designed by Enrico Azzimonti produced by using an innovative productive approach: it is time to break the patterns and overcome the technological limitations that till now have bound the tube processing only to some application fields. It's conceived and projected for outdoor: made for stainless steel, it is resistant to weathering. The idea is to design a chair technically and ergonomically correct and, at the same time, flexible according to various forms of social aggregation.
